Senior Sneak Peeks! {Schertz Senior Photography}

Meet Blake.  He’s a great friend of my son and I’m so grateful for him & his friendship to Dylan so I was thrilled when his mom asked if I’d shoot his senior pictures.  He can tend to be quiet & shy just like my son so it was great spending some one on one time with him getting to know him a bit better.  He’s a great kid and will be attending UTSA in the Fall so best of luck to you, Blake, and we still hope to see you every  now & then once college begins!

Sneak Peeks for the V Family {Schertz Family Photography}

I met up with the V family in New Braunfels one lovely evening for some new family portraits and some images to commemorate the first communion of their daughter.  I loved seeing her lovely heirloom dress and her doll, Jill, who was dressed to match.  We saw all sorts of creatures on our excursion through the park……ducks, deer, fish, squirrels and some sort of little beaver-type creature that we weren’t quite sure what it was!  Hopefully the kids had fun, I know I did.  Enjoy your sneak peeks!

Brother & Sisterly Love {Garden Ridge Family Photography}

I met up with the V family one warm evening in a tiny little town close by where I love to shoot.  You know me, I love anything vintage…….chippy paint, rusty metal, worn wood……I’m ALL about it so when people request to go there I’m always giddy.  Thankfully Mother Nature agreed with us that evening and things fell into place and hopefully we managed to get some nice brother/sister images for the family that they’ll enjoy for years to come.

An Afternoon in the Park {San Antonio Family Photographer}

One day I got a call from a somewhat frantic but really nice guy.  He was looking for a photographer who could do a relatively quick photo session for him since he was deploying the next week.  He wanted some new pictures taken with his 2 young daughters, now how could I possibly to turn this down I ask you??!  I was available a few days later so we met up over at a favorite park of theirs that afternoon, sort of a hidden little gem that they knew of but not many others do, and just sort of went exploring together.  It was very warm that day but everyone was troopers and I think the girls certainly had fun!  I hope these little captured moments in time will mean the world to him while he’s away from his family.  Thank you for trusting me with your images, Josh, and God Speed…….

MaryAnn Riel - These photographs really captured the souls of my family, the innocent faces of the children and the love of each other and nature shines through. Priceless!

Sneak Peeks for Rachael! {Schertz Senior Photography}

We had been trying to find a mutual date that would work for Rachael’s senior pictures for a long while and then low and behold, the evening we finally met up within minutes the skies opened up and it began POURING rain on us.  Thankfully we were able to snap a few pictures before the rain began which I just love and then we met up the following evening which was obviously much prettier thankfully!  She was such a fun girl to work with and was more than happy to kick her shoes off and do anything I asked her to do to get the shot……..how about you get in the water?  Ok! How about walking out in the middle of those flowers??  Alright!! Will you sit up against this prickly hay bale for me???  SURE!!!  You gotta love that.  Enjoy your sneak peeks, Rachael!!
