I might not have a daughter of my own but God blessed Steve & I with a beautiful blonde haired/blue eyed Goddaughter and we’ve been so fortunate to have her visit us a few times over the years when she was growing up and have really enjoyed watching her blossom into such a gorgeous, loving, caring young lady. She lives in Illinois and called me a while back to ask me if I would take her engagement pictures for her and her fiance’, Todd, while we were up there visiting on our annual summer visit home and although we were only there a few days this time of COURSE I was going to make it work! The temps were really hot the weekend we were there but thankfully the last evening of our visit right when we were to begin shooting, a cool front moved through and cooled things down for us and brought in a slight wonderful breeze and right at the perfect time, God peeked His sunny head out through the clouds to check in on us and give His blessing to their union. It was magical. We took some of the pictures on her family’s farm where she grew up and then we traveled a mile down the road to his family farm where he grew up and where they will live someday. One farm is white, the other red and I was in Heaven with tons of kitties and chickens frolicking about. It was an amazing evening and I enjoyed it so much so I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks just as much!
