Sneak Peek of Baby Luke {San Antonio family photographer}

The Simmons family have been great clients of mine for a couple of years now. This was our 4th session together and for this one I went to their beautiful home and shot some photos of their 7 month old son in the comfort of familiar surroundings. This is really the way to go when shooting infants! When he needed to nurse or be changed, we were right there where everything was handy & convenient which is really the way to go. We shot for about an hour till Daddy & the siblings returned home from the bookstore and it was time for me to be on my merry way which was more than enough time to grab some cute images of Baby Luke doing what he does best at 7 months……sit up, look cute, play & practice his pretend tummy swimming skills!

Sweet Baby Sneak Peeks! {San Antonio Family Photographer}

I spent a part of my lovely cool saturday morning taking family photos with the Wier family and I enjoyed my time with them SO much! They were a referral to me by my friend Shawna, it’s always such an honor when my friends trust their clients & friends with me. I always enjoy it when clients invite me to their homes for family photos because to me it makes the photographs even more meaningful & special when you see familar beloved backgrounds in the images. We spent the morning roaming around the home & property finding fun spots to take photos of sweet 6 month old baby Finn with his mommy & daddy. Thank GOODNESS for his grandparents & aunt who were also there to help me out in getting Finn’s attention & making him smile, they were troopers & such a blessing!! He was a happy baby all morning and such a little trooper for us…….enjoy your sneak peeks, Wier family!

I will MIA for a short while……I’m leaving on Thursday for a short trip to NYC. I’ve never been there before so I’m really excited to have my friend, Danielle, show me around so I can soak in all the sights & sounds of the Big Apple and take a bajillion photos!

Baby Rocco Sneak Peeks! {Schertz Newborn Photographer}

As I’ve talked about before, word of mouth is everything in this industry. As much as photography is about producing wonderful photographs for your clients, it’s about customer service……taking care of your client from the moment they contact you till the last second when you hand off the finished product to their hands. I worked in the Retail Industry for over 10 years and of course in that line of work, customer service is EVERYTHING and taking good care of your customer is so vital and I think because of this background, I take extra special care of my clients and ultimately, they usually always end up my friend. Having someone refer me as a good photographer to someone else is the ultimate gratification of knowing I’ve done my job and done it well. I say all of that because that is how the Guastellas found me. They had gotten a Christmas card from a holiday client of mine where they had used a collage of images from their session and then in turn asked who photographed the images for them and Voila! They hired me to come to their home and photograph their precious Baby Rocco who was less than a week old and I enjoyed spending time with them so much. What a precious sweet baby boy……..just LOOK at him!

Oh baby baby! {Schertz Maternity Photographer}

It’s always a special honor when a fellow photographer asks me to take photos for them & this was the case with Autumn. She’s beginning her own photography business here locally and asked if I’d take maternity pics for her since she’d never had them done before and this little peanut is her baby #5. We met up at the studio and spent a fun morning taking photos for her, here are just a few of my faves. Enjoy your sneak peeks Autumn & Matt!

I’m still truckin’ on with my Project 52 photos as well. The theme for week 3 was “Shades of Grey” so I snapped this shot of me at my studio before taking Autumn’s photos. I was looking out the window of my studio at the pavement and wall of the building across the street from mine on a grey gloomy day……thought it fit the theme well and I guess others did too because it was chosen as one of their Top 10 on the MCP Blog. I was so honored to have been noticed out of the hundreds of photos that are submitted! Here it is……

I’ve been blessed with some of THE nicest clients ever. Really, I have. I really don’t think I’ve ever met a sweeter couple than Brian & Heather. She found me online and they came to my studio for their first maternity session and gratefully asked me to come to their home to photograph their precious newborn son, Mason, when he was less than 2 weeks old. They did a fantastic job and had him nice & “milk drunk” by the time arrived and the little guy slept the ENTIRE time which is a rarity & unexpected blessing for me! We moved him around, changed his clothes, shuffled him from person to person and the little fella didn’t mind one iota.

Congrats on your new precious bundle of joy, Brian & Heather, and thank you for allowing me to take Mason’s first portraits! Here are some of my favorites…..

Love. Pure adoration and love. That’s pretty much all I can say about this couple and these images. I have to admit that my eyes teared up a time or two just feeling & sensing the love between them and it was pretty amazing. Thank you Brian & Heather for allowing me the privilidge of shooting for your first maternity session. I simply can’t wait to meet Baby Mason!

An Evening in the Bluebonnets

I adore my friend Holly. We just clicked…..immediately, but then again she clicks with everyone, she’s just one of those people. She’s the kind of girl who everyone loves and I’m grateful she came into my life via Tracy and then it all just snowballed from there. I shot her maternity session and then her newborn session and recently she asked if I’d take pics of their new family of 3 in the bluebonnets. Well of course! We were supposed to meet on a friday evening but on wednesday it was such a lovely day and I was out shooting other sessions anyway so I asked if they might be able to meet me a couple of days early and thankfully they could because we simply couldn’t have asked for a more lovely evening. They brought along a good friend of theirs and he brought his sweet baby, Chloe, so I took some shots of them too. Talk about adorable! Thank you Guys for such a fun evening, I hope you had as much as I did.

The Johnson Family {Schertz Family Photographer}

I know I talk occasionally about my church family at Crosspoint Fellowship and how they great they are and I promise I wouldn’t do that unless I really meant it. We have such a nice diversity of membership there of retirees, military families, young families, students, you name it and the Johnsons are one of those invaluable families to Crosspoint Fellowship. Kasey heads up the Clubhouse which is the birth-kinder aged kids and Johnny helps out with the older kids in the Warehouse. I get to watch their sweet little girl each sunday in the nursery and I just adore her too. A friend of the Johnson’s bought them a photo session with me as thanks for watching their dog and after many months of trying, we were finally able to meet up a few weeks ago on what was shaping up to be a lovely spring day but instead we arrived to New Braunfels to find a chilly breeze. They were troopers as we hiked around the park for a while snapping some shots and thankfully my new studio came in VERY handy on a chilly day such as this. We drove the short mile there and took a few more shots of Maddie in a much warmer environment for her 1st birthday portraits. Thank you Johnson Family, I had such a fun afternoon with you guys!

Loved this one, though it would be fun to look back on the photo years from now to see the height difference at 1 yr. old.

Still waiting on the Bluebonnets to begin blooming but will hopefully begin seeing the little beauties within a week or two. It’s been such a pleasure watching this little one grow up along with her 2 big sisters. Noelle just turned 1 on monday so she & mommy met me at the studio for a few quick photos to document the momentous day so here are a few sneak peeks for them……..

Mama Holly has been waiting patiently so I wanted to post a few sneak peeks of her precious long-awaited bundle of joy, you might remember her maternity session. I went to their beautiful home for some photos of Baby Ethan at 11 days old because his great-grandfather who is 90 years young was visiting from New York and they were both as charming as can be! Little guy didn’t want to sleep but that’s ok, we made the best of it since he was very relaxed & patient with us as we changed his outfits & moved him around. What a little trooper! Congrats Holly & Brad, your little man is simply precious…..
