Wedding Sneak Peeks for Tiffany & Joel {Brown-Eyed Girl Photography}

I’ve been blessed to call Tiffany for many years now. Thinking back on it, I can’t even remember exactly when we met…….it just seems that as long as I’ve lived in this area she’s been my friend. It might’ve been through scrapbooking because wayyyyyyy back in the day we used to get together & scrap at her house or perhaps it was through baseball back when her oldest & my oldest played ball together? (Tiff, perhaps you can refresh my memory on this!) Regardless, we’ve managed to stay in touch through the years and meet up every now & then over coffee and catch up on things and I’m happy that we did. She was one of my first friends who allowed me to take photos of her adorable family and use them in my marketing materials back when I was starting my photography business and for that I was very grateful but then, Tiffany is just that sort of sweet friend, so when she asked me if I’d photograph her wedding day there was no way I’d ever say no. I was honored to be there and be part of her very special day all the while smiling & thinking how happy I am that God brought Joel into her life. She was a single mom to her 4 precious kids for many years being the only one to get them to school, band practice, sports practices, etc. and now her family is complete and I couldn’t be happier for her. I was secretly hoping she’d also ask me to come along with them on their honeymoon to Spain as their photographer but alas, that didn’t happen!! Congrats Tiffany & Joel, I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks! XOXO

The ceremony was held at the lovely historical Koehler House here in San Antonio.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with THE nicest couple ever. No really! I didn’t know them prior to working with them on their engagement, bridal & then wedding portraits but over the past several months of working with them, I feel that I can genuinely say that. I shot their engagement session last fall which is posted here and then Peggy’s fun bridal shoot in Gruene posted here and then a couple of weeks ago, God blessed them with the loveliest spring day and we all met out in Marion for their wedding day. My friend Chasity joined me as second shooter for the day which rocks because we always have so much fun working together and balance each other out very well. After getting to know Ryan & Peggy and learning more about their story, I’m so grateful God brought them together and was very honored to spend their special blessed day with them from beginning to end. Peggy and I along with 2 of her best friends met out in Gruene one sunday morning thinking that because it was an early sunday morning we’d have the quaint little town to ourselves but alas NOOOOOOOOOO, ’twas not meant to be. We were greeted in town by hundreds of other folks who had gathered there that morning for the Texas Clay Festival. What’s a clay festival you ask? I wasn’t quite sure myself but after closer observation noticed booths set up where folks were selling their creations made out of, yep you guessed it, clay. REALLY? How awesome I suppose that folks can see beauty in all things however I was NOT pleased but we made the best of it and found plenty of places to tuck ourselves away from the clay fans and the shoot was a success! At first we weren’t going to post any sneak peeks for Peggy but I ran into her out shopping one day for Halloween costumes and she told me it was ok, that Ryan could resist the temptation to peek, so here you go my dear!!
