Love. Pure adoration and love. That’s pretty much all I can say about this couple and these images. I have to admit that my eyes teared up a time or two just feeling & sensing the love between them and it was pretty amazing. Thank you Brian & Heather for allowing me the privilidge of shooting for your first maternity session. I simply can’t wait to meet Baby Mason!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, referrals are everything to a new business. All it takes is one person out there praising you or one person out there bashing you and I guarantee you, as a small business owner you’ll feel the impact soon enough. Thankfully I haven’t had to deal with the impact of the former but thankfully the latter of the two and because of one person’s refferal and many pregnant ladies, I am giddy and busy with maternity sessions! I love to hear the stories of each family as well and Holly’s is exeptionally special. She and her husband had been trying to get pregnant and are now nearly 8 months pregnant with their miracle IVF baby boy!! What an honor to be asked to photograph this glowing happy mama, I SO enjoyed our afternoon together and also loved seeing their GORGEOUS home. I told her several times that she should also be an interior decorator…….totally amazing, rooms out of the pages of Pottery Barn I’m telling you! I commented a couple of times on how gorgeous her pretty rhinestone bracelet was photographing in the pictures and at the end of our session she slipped it on my wrist and told me she wanted me to have it. I was in tears, literally. I prayed that my photographs would do this beautiful story justice and hope they have. Enjoy Holly & Brad and congrats from one Brown-Eyed Girl to another.

Sneek Peek for Paula! {Schertz Maternity Photographer}

I’m a busy bee getting ready to fly out early in the morning on wednesday to head up to Omaha for Silver Bella but I wanted to post a sneak peek for Miss Paula and her hubby! She found me on the internet while browsing for maternity photographers and I’m so happy she did! They are from Boerne but we met out in Gruene on saturday morning and pretty much had the town to ourselves, go figure, that place is so hit or miss these days. Just never know when the ol’ Clay Festival is going to be in town I guess! Anyway, she’s pregnant with her first baby, a baby boy, and she wanted professional pics taken. Good for her!! I waited till baby #3 to have maternity pics taken and I’ve always regretted that so don’t wait ladies, have the pics taken with baby #1. Trust me on this! Anyway, here you go Paula……enjoy & thanks for being such a great model!

For those of you who did Holiday mini or regular sessions with me, if you haven’t ordered your cards & prints yet you will need to place your Christmas Card order by Nov. 23 and your print order by Nov. 30 to ensure delivery by Christmas. The cards are ordered seperately from the prints so please call or email me with your card order to let me know which template & image(s) you want to use or if you would like a low-res digital copy of the image of your choice to make your own cards. Welcome to my new blog! I’m sorry if you’ve been checking in at my other poor neglected blog over the past few months, I’m sure you might’ve given up on me a long while ago but now I hope that you’ll check in often to see what I’ve been up to. This blog will take the place of my personal that I’ve had for years & my older photography blog and my goal is to merge it all here where you will find sneak peeks of client sessions, updates on offers & specials I’m offering through my business, random photos that I wish to share and a few updates in general on what I’ve been up to. I’m excited to have everything here in one nice place where the images are much bigger & BETTER!! VERY excited! This has been a long time in the planning & making and you’ll probably see the blog go through various changes till I’m completely satisfied with it but for now this will do just fine as I’ve been itching to launch. I’d been wanting to begin this blog for months now but hit some snags with typical summertime family activities, our 20th wedding anniversary trip with the Furses to Napa Valley & San Francisco in late July and then the recent unexpected death of my father which slowed me down for a while. By the way, I publicly want to say that I SO appreciate all of the emails, phone calls, texts, cards and words of support……they certainly helped me get through when I was down in the valley looking out but I’m ready to heal and move forward with a new school year, cooler weather (HOPEFULLY! It HAS to happen soon, right?!) and a busy fall and holiday season w/Brown-Eyed Girl. The 2010 Senior season has already kicked off and I will be posting photos soon of a few of my Senior Reps (guys & gals in local high schools who help promote & spread the word about my business), I’m lucky to have found some great kids who will be awesome representatives of me and my business. Thanks Guys!

I wanted to launch my blog posting photos from one of my recent favorite sessions. I go to church with this precious couple and had such fun spending the morning photographing them. This is their first baby and you could just tell that they’re SO excited! Meredith had her make-up done by local professional make-up artist Robyn Chappell which only added to her effervescent glow that only pregnant women have.
