Senior Sneak Peeks for D {San Antonio Senior Photography}

I always love asking clients how they found me and my business and Drew’s family was no exception.  His mom said that she found me through a Google search and my favorite line was, “You didn’t come up on the first page but after looking at several we realized you were the best.”  Things like that can sure make a girl feel really good who’s trying hard to build a successful thriving photography business in the midst of so many others who are offering low-cost sessions to build their portfolio and attract business.  Although he lives in Alamo Heights, we decided to shoot in New Braunfels since Landa Park held many childhood memories for their family.  Best of luck playing football in Ohio this Fall, Drew, and enjoy your senior sneak peeks…..

Andi - love these!

Meet Miss Ashley! {Schertz Senior Photographer}

It makes such a big difference when seniors put some thought into their senior portraits, not only into what they want to wear but how they want them to look and the little things they can do or bring to make the images more THEM.  Ashley showed up with clear ideas on things she wanted to do and that helps me do my job so much.  She had fun with her session and wasn’t afraid to jump right into the chilly river water or hang from trees to get the shots she wanted and I loved that!  Thanks for making my job easy, Ashley and congrats on being chosen the 2013 Clemens High School Prom Queen, I’m so excited for you and am honored to have photographed royalty.  :-)  Enjoy your sneak peeks and congrats on being accepted to Texas A&M.  Whoop!

Sneak Peeks for M & B {Schertz Senior Photographer}

I’ve known Matt & his family for years.  They were one of the first families we met when we began attending Crosspoint Church many years ago.  I remember his sweet grandpa turning around and introducing himself to me and thinking his grandma Lottie is one of THE sweetest ladies that I’d ever encountered.  I’ve been lucky to watch Matt grow up with my boys at school & church and turn into such a polite, funny and kind young man so I was thrilled to pieces when his mom asked me to take his senior pictures.  He brought his pretty sweet girlfriend along for a few pictures as well and it was fun getting to know her better as we walked through town and they showed me the playground where they often hang out and fell in love……

Meet Brandon! {New Braunfels Senior Photography}

I met Brandon & his family a while back when I did a holiday mini family session with them.  We have many friends in common so they found out about me through them (once again a testament for how important & valuable word of mouth is in this industry).  I met him one warm afternoon at his high school ball field for some images then we went exploring in his hometown and luckily found some places that he had never even been to before so that’s a score!  I know there are typically 1000 things guys would rather be doing than taking their senior pictures but he rocked it and did a great job so enjoy your sneak peeks!!

Jen - Love that bridge and you knew just what that light would do there! Fantastic! I think these perfectly capture a senior guy!

Sherry Steveson - The image of him leaning on the fence with his glove is stunning! What a handsome young man! What a cute smirk in the first image.

Megan + Steve = LOVE {Schertz Engagement Photography}

I’ve been posting so many Senior sessions that I thought I might mix it up and post a fun engagement session I shot a while back and hadn’t posted yet.  I’m so grateful that my engagement, bridal & wedding business is taking off because I love doing those types of sessions and have such a great time getting to know my couples & their families.  By the time the wedding is over with, we’re practically family and my relationship w/the Wells family is no exception.  I’ve had the pleasure of working with them many times now so I was so honored when Megan asked me to shoot her engagement session & wedding which I blogged about here.   I know I’m in agreement with their entire family when I say that I hope to be getting a call to do a maternity session for them in 2013!!  :-)
