Now that Frances is officially married I can post her lovely bridal images we took on a chilly afternoon at the McNay Art Museum. She was such a trooper despite the rapidly falling temps and mist and looked just beautiful and the green decor in and around the museum worked perfectly with her emerald green-themed wedding color. (totally unplanned by the way although I should totally take credit for that awesome coincidence!!) I will be posting some sneak peeks from Frances & Kai’s wedding soon so keep checking back, but for now enjoy some of her lovely bridal portraits…..
I always love it when families hire me for their kid’s senior pictures not only once, but twice! I shot senior pics for the Brown’s daughter and then met up with them last week to shoot pictures for their son who is a senior at Clemens High School. Zach plays soccer for the Buffs and hopes to attend Texas State University so best of luck with your future, Zach, and thank you for being so fun and easy to work with!
I’ve known Brad and his family so many years now and was SO excited when he contacted me about engagement pictures! He and his fiance’, Chelsea, are just too cute and they were such fun to work with as well…….I wish you both the best of luck with your future together and can’t wait to see what it holds for you!! Enjoy your sneak peeks and thanks again for trusting me with your engagement pics……..
I loved the ideas that Amelie’s mama had for her 3rd birthday photo session. She was going to have a fairy birthday party so her mom brought along some of her props for her photo session as well. We met up on a chilly afternoon at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne and the little sweetie was SUCH a trooper! We were able to snap some quick family pictures for them as well down along the river and we found some ducks for her to frolic with too which she just loved. Thank you for choosing me and happy birthday Miss Amelie!!
Winter time is such a quiet, unique time in the country at Rachel Ashwell’s bed & breakfast in Round Top, Texas called The Prairie. I’ve adored Rachel’s style and all things Shabby Chic since I first discovered it years ago and when I learned she had opened up & styled her own B&B just a few hours away from me, I KNEW I had to stay there eventually! My first opportunity came in the winter time when the town & property is quiet and there isn’t much going on which is quite a dramatic contrast from the hectic days of antique week in April and October when the tiny town swells from population 90 to 60,000! I pulled onto the dirt roads of The Prairie on a chilly evening to find myself being the only person staying there that night which oddly enough, I didn’t find spooky or scary at all! The property and rooms were so cozy and I was quickly greeted by the sweetest kitty who followed me everywhere I went so she helped to keep me company. I settled in and quickly made myself at home by taking a warm bath in the vintage clawfoot bathtub and snuggling in under the mounds of luxurious dreamy soft bed linens in the Lilliput Lodge while the temperatures dropped and winds blew outdoors and before I knew it, I was sleeping like a kitten. I roamed the property the next morning and snapped a few pictures to share so enjoy taking a peek of The Prairie through the lens of my camera…….oh, and P.S……..if you’re planning a wedding or event at The Prairie and are looking for a photographer, I’m your girl. 😉
God definitely shone down on Matt & Bree’s wedding day. Just the day before it was terribly chilly & rainy and even when I showed up to Boulder Springs on the wedding day, it was still cloudy and a bit cool but as the ceremony approached the clouds parted, temperatures warmed and the sun came out and blessed the day and their union with His lovely light. See for yourselves……
