I met up with Christina & Logan on a lovely warm Summer evening a while back to take maternity pictures for them while they’re waiting for the birth of their first child. They’re such a sweet couple and Logan was so attentive to the expecting mother, it was such a precious thing to see how he’s already taking care of his 2 best girls. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy, the delivery and your first moments as a family of 3. I hope to meet little Aubree soon!!

Every Fall I offer mini photo sessions for clients who are only needing a few images to give as Christmas gifts or use on cards and this year the dates I have set aside for my holiday mini sessions are Saturday and Sunday, September 26 & 27 and Sat & Sun, October 17 & 18. Locations are TBD but will be held in the Schertz/Garden Ridge/New Braunfels area. My mini sessions are a 25 minute photo session at one location and you will get up to 15 beautifully edited digital images from your session for $200 + tax. If you are interested and would like to reserve a time slot, please email me at browneyedgirlphotography@yahoo.com. 🙂

Pretty brides maids all in a row in beautiful pastel pink gowns. A lovely sea-themed wedding decor. Summer blue skies with white puffy clouds. The Hill Country beauty of Boulder Springs. Dapper groomsmen in khaki and black Chucks. One of the loveliest wedding cakes I’ve ever seen & the happy couple being sent off to Disney under a sea of gold streamers…….this is Jessica & Karl’s wedding.

  • Mona Toler - These images so warmed my heart as a grandmother. Give us more!

Kristin is SUCH a tough trooper! We are smack in the middle of a rare rainy season here in San Antonio and although we knew we had a high chance of rain the morning of her bridal session, she decided to charge forward with her hair & makeup appointments and her photo session since we were under a time crunch to get them done. We even drove through a heavy rain shower on our way to the McNay that morning however as we all arrived and were ready to begin, God smiled down on us and blessed us with enough dry time to get some lovely images for her although the intermittent sunshine provided a lovely hot sauna experience for us all. 🙂 The wet grounds also presented a bit of a challenge but you certainly can’t tell by the pictures thanks to her mother & sisters who came along as well and were such a big help! Kristin, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer and allowing me to share in these special moments with you and your precious family.

  • Bob McCullough - Kristin…Wow! What a gorgeous bride you are! Congratulations; best wishes; keep in touch! Warmest regards, Bob

I love to shoot many types of photo sessions and love the challenges and joys each age and style of photography brings me however there aren’t many types that make my heart sing like working with high school seniors. I have kids that age myself so I am really comfortable around them and pride myself on typically being able to get them to relax, open up and enjoy the process of having their senior portraits taken. I encourage them to wear outfits that are THEM and also bring things that will help make the pictures more personal and unique to them such as musical instruments, favorite books or records, sports equipment, dance gear, etc. We work together to come up with location ideas that will work the best for the style and look of pictures your senior is aiming for and thankfully here in our area, we have many great places to choose from. Feel free to comment below or email me at browneyedgirlphotography@yahoo.com for inquiries and questions you might have, I’d love to hear from YOU!

I really enjoy doing newborn sessions at the client’s home. It creates a comfortable environment and everything is there that they could need for baby during the photo session. I can bring along props and things but most of the time all we need is a comfortable place to sit and spend time together, some pretty light and a few special things that mom & dad might want to use in the shoot. I SO wish I would’ve had someone do this for me when my babies were born because I’d love to have snapshots of these candid moments with the newest addition to our family. If you are interested in scheduling a shoot like this with your new bundle of joy then just shoot me a message through the link above and I’ll get back to you with availability and pricing right away. Meet Mr. Grayson who really didn’t want much to do with having his picture taken anywhere except in Mom’s arms but that’s quite alright because we made it work…..
