Bubblegum pink & navy blue. Preppy stripes & ties. Electrical outages which thankfully were quickly resolved. Hot temps and clear blue skies. Sweet tea & southern pralines. Lots of singing and sincere prayers. Groups of friends, family and much love to go around…….this was Amelia & Clayton’s wedding day…….
A few times a year I love to reserve a hotel room, hire hair & makeup artists and treat 5 ladies to a fun one-stop-shop boudoir session experience. This time I have decided to secure a king suite on Saturday, Sept. 20th at the Hotel Havana in downtown San Antonio……think chandeliers, modern boutique, color, iron beds…..very chic! I have secured Cindy to do hair for me again, this will be our 3rd time working together, and will also have a makeup artist on site to do your custom makeup for you! This will be my first time working at Hotel Havana and I’m very excited about it and after your session you can go around the corner to Ocho for drinks and wonderful Cuban/Latin food since you’ll have your hair & makeup already done. Sound fun? Then book one of my 5 boudoir mini sessions by commenting below or emailing me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cost is $450 and I ask for a $50 deposit via PayPal to secure your spot with the rest due on the day of the shoot. We will begin the sessions in the later afternoon, probably around 3pm or so and sessions will run every hour with 30-45 minutes prior to your session allotted to have your hair & makeup done. Only 5 spots are available and this will be the only time I do this before the holidays so don’t miss out! There isn’t anything else your honey would rather find under his Christmas tree than lovely images of YOU.
Ok, I had such fun working with Amelia and her sweet mom throughout the process of her engagement, bridal & wedding day photography…….I mean you just have to love a client who feeds you delicious muffins and plays Duran Duran music for you in the car while driving around to locations for their photo session! We traveled to College Station for Amelia & Clayton’s engagement session as that is where they’re attending college and we had fun hitting all of the iconic Texas A&M campus locations together, you can see that session here! Then this summer we met up in the bride’s hometown of Seguin for her bridal portraits and stopped by their favorite locations there which we just lovely as you’ll see below. Amelia & Clayton were married on Saturday so I’m finally able to post some of my favorites from her bridal portrait session. She looked so lovely and we had such fun working together as always and I look forward to posting some sneak peeks from their wedding day SOON so stay tuned!
I had such a fun Saturday afternoon last weekend with Chris, D’Anna and their friends & family celebrating their lovely wedding. They exchanged vows in their church home, the Alamo Heights Baptist Church, which provided a lovely (AND nice and cool I might add!) setting for their special day and a wonderful time was had by all! Enjoy your sneak peeks, newlyweds!!
I photographed D’Anna & Chris’s lovely summer wedding last weekend so now I’m able to post some of my favorite images from her bridal session. We met up early one morning at the lovely McNay Art Museum in San Antonio and had such fun exploring the grounds together with her bridesmaid, Amanda. The museum has indoor and and outdoor areas that are just lovely but on that particular day we were especially thankful for the nice cool indoor areas so we could all cool down! I could not say enough wonderful things about D’Anna, Chris and their families and look forward to sharing some images from their wedding day as well. Enjoy!
The Baxters found me through a local mutual friend who had also used me for her son’s senior pictures and referred me to them. We had hoped to get together for maternity pictures but were finally able to meet up a week after little man’s birth at their home. I love doing in-home photo sessions where the babies are most comfortable and everything they could need is right there handy plus it’s fun to look back and not only remember the moment but the surroundings you lived in at the time as well which is especially nice for military families. Little man decided to stay awake for the whole photo session so we might not have gotten those “sleepy baby” poses but we did get plenty of others that I love and hope you do too.
