The Baxters found me through a local mutual friend who had also used me for her son’s senior pictures and referred me to them. We had hoped to get together for maternity pictures but were finally able to meet up a week after little man’s birth at their home. I love doing in-home photo sessions where the babies are most comfortable and everything they could need is right there handy plus it’s fun to look back and not only remember the moment but the surroundings you lived in at the time as well which is especially nice for military families. Little man decided to stay awake for the whole photo session so we might not have gotten those “sleepy baby” poses but we did get plenty of others that I love and hope you do too.
I’ve known Cary since he was a little boy when they first moved into our neighborhood many years ago and to this day he is still good friends with my sons. It’s been great watching him grow into a wonderful young man and bring these 2 wonderful ladies into his life and ours as well. Mekalye is the perfect fit for him and it only takes being around them for about 5 seconds before you realize this for yourself and now they have brought this little angel into the world who is just about THE cutest baby I’ve ever seen! Can you tell that I’m a bit smitten?! We met up on a rainy afternoon to snap a few quick engagement pictures for them and for the pictures of just mom & dad, I am holding baby on my hip while shooting the picture and she’s trying to plant kisses on me…….that was a new but fun challenge!! Enjoy!
Diana is one of my best clients and I always enjoy seeing and working with her. It’s been so fun to see her daughter Ava blossom and become so comfortable in front of the camera which is a far cry from our first session together a few Christmases ago when she was shy and didn’t want much to do with me nor my camera being there! Now she smiles and even mugs for the camera and is such a pleasure to work with as is her lovely mama. It was all her idea to do this fun retro mommy daughter session idea at her mother-in-law’s lovely home, aren’t the aprons just & the little retro kitchen ADORABLE!
We were blessed with a lovely day in the Texas Hill Country for Taelor & Kenton’s wedding at the Gardens at Old Town Helotes and it was a pleasure capturing their special day for them.
Miss Carli contacted me after seeing some senior images I took of one of her friends at Clemens High School so we met up on a warm sunny evening and had fun walking around taking her pictures. We could not have asked for lovelier light and better weather and I think that shows though in her sneak peek images. I hope you like them, Carli, and thank you for trusting me with your senior pictures……..best of luck at Texas A&M University & Gig ‘Em!!!
