Kristin is SUCH a tough trooper! We are smack in the middle of a rare rainy season here in San Antonio and although we knew we had a high chance of rain the morning of her bridal session, she decided to charge forward with her hair & makeup appointments and her photo session since we were under a time crunch to get them done. We even drove through a heavy rain shower on our way to the McNay that morning however as we all arrived and were ready to begin, God smiled down on us and blessed us with enough dry time to get some lovely images for her although the intermittent sunshine provided a lovely hot sauna experience for us all. 🙂 The wet grounds also presented a bit of a challenge but you certainly can’t tell by the pictures thanks to her mother & sisters who came along as well and were such a big help! Kristin, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer and allowing me to share in these special moments with you and your precious family.
I love to shoot many types of photo sessions and love the challenges and joys each age and style of photography brings me however there aren’t many types that make my heart sing like working with high school seniors. I have kids that age myself so I am really comfortable around them and pride myself on typically being able to get them to relax, open up and enjoy the process of having their senior portraits taken. I encourage them to wear outfits that are THEM and also bring things that will help make the pictures more personal and unique to them such as musical instruments, favorite books or records, sports equipment, dance gear, etc. We work together to come up with location ideas that will work the best for the style and look of pictures your senior is aiming for and thankfully here in our area, we have many great places to choose from. Feel free to comment below or email me at email@example.com for inquiries and questions you might have, I’d love to hear from YOU!
I really enjoy doing newborn sessions at the client’s home. It creates a comfortable environment and everything is there that they could need for baby during the photo session. I can bring along props and things but most of the time all we need is a comfortable place to sit and spend time together, some pretty light and a few special things that mom & dad might want to use in the shoot. I SO wish I would’ve had someone do this for me when my babies were born because I’d love to have snapshots of these candid moments with the newest addition to our family. If you are interested in scheduling a shoot like this with your new bundle of joy then just shoot me a message through the link above and I’ll get back to you with availability and pricing right away. Meet Mr. Grayson who really didn’t want much to do with having his picture taken anywhere except in Mom’s arms but that’s quite alright because we made it work…..
I’ve worked with the Rheinlaender family many times and always have such fun with them and such was the case w/their son’s senior pictures. We always seem to have some sort of crazy incident happen during their session such as freaky bug bites or something and this time it happened to be a curious mean Water Moccasin who tried to nose his way into the photo session! Thankfully everyone stayed safe and in the end all we had was a good story to tell!! Thank you for trusting me to work with your family memories again, Rheinlaenders, and enjoy your sneak peeks…..
I always have such fun when I work with Ashley. She’s such a free spirit who is always quick to laugh and her smile w/dimples is contagious so I was thrilled when she asked me to take her maternity pictures! She is pregnant with a little boy, glowing as you’ll see and I just know she’ll make a wonderful mommy along with devoted daddy, Caleb. I sure can’t wait to meet the little fella. Congrats to you both & enjoy your sneak peeks!!
I’ve known the Pangrac family for years. Our sons played Little League ball together, Michele was my Creative Memories consultant (scrapbooking……remember THAT?!!), we have many friends in common and now I have had the honor of photographing all 3 of the Pangrac kids’ senior pictures. Their youngest, Spencer, will be heading to the Air Force Academy so he decided that he wanted his senior pictures taken at Randolph Air Force Base which is nearby. Thankfully our erratic bi-polar weather agreed with us that evening and provided some lovely cloud coverage for his images and we had a nice time together. Enjoy the sneak peeks!
